There's a small gap between the moment you tap "place order" and the moment a box shows up at your door. For most brands, that gap is a black hole. You pay, you wait, you hope, and nobody tells you a thing until a courier is banging on the gate.
We never liked that.
For years, if you wanted something from us, you walked in, we talked, and you walked out with it in a bag. We could look you in the eye. Selling online meant losing that part — or so we assumed. So before we opened the store, we spent a while working out how to keep the handshake even when we're not in the same room.
This is what actually happens after you order. All of it. No black hole.
First, a real person sees it
The second your order comes through, it lands in front of someone on our team. Not a warehouse the size of an airport, not a bot forwarding a slip to another bot. We're small enough that someone reads your name and knows what's leaving the building that day.
You'll get a confirmation almost right away. That's not us being efficient for the sake of it — it's just us telling you the same thing we'd say across the counter: got it, we're on it.
Then we look the piece over
Before anything gets folded, the garment gets checked. Seams, buttons, the way it hangs. We're looking for the things you'd notice the first time you wore it: a loose thread, a button sitting slightly wrong, a crease that has no business being there.
If a piece doesn't pass, it doesn't ship.
We'd rather hold your order back a day and send you the right one than rush you the wrong one to hit some delivery target. It's the least glamorous part of the whole process and probably the most important.
We pack it like it matters
Your order isn't tossed in a polybag and taped shut. It's folded properly, wrapped and boxed so it arrives the way it left us — not looking like it fought its way across the country to get to you.
Small thing, but it's the difference between opening a delivery and opening something you actually bought on purpose. We think that moment counts.
Out the door, and you'll know it
Once it's packed, it's dispatched, and you get a tracking link the moment it does. No wondering. No "has it even shipped?" You'll see where it is and roughly when it's landing.
If a delay ever hits our end — stock, a courier holdup, whatever it is — you hear it from us first. We'd rather tell you straight than leave you refreshing a tracking page.
If something's off, talk to us
Sometimes the fit isn't right. Sometimes you order the navy and realise you wanted the charcoal. It happens, and it's not a problem.
Reach out and you'll get a person, not a maze of forms and auto-replies that go nowhere. Exchanges and returns are meant to be simple, because sorting it out shouldn't be harder than buying it in the first place. That's a low bar, and you'd be amazed how many brands trip over it.
The full terms are in our Return Policy and Payment & Refund Policy.
Same care. New address.
Nothing about how we treat an order changed when we went online. The shop just got a bigger door.
Every piece still gets checked by hand, packed like it matters, and sent out by people who'd be a little embarrassed to put their name on anything less. You don't have to see any of it for it to make a difference — but now you know it's there.
